Description

BioPow Organic Fungicide is a product that was formulated as a result of the rising bacterial wilt in ginger in the Southern part of Kaduna State. It was designed to curb the increasing disease epidemic that ravaged ginger production in 2023. As well as protect the ginger seed from rotting. The product was a great success as per the testimony of farmers who have used it.

BioPow is a systemic organic fungicide used in the control of fungal diseases like  Damping off, seed rot, blight, Root rot, Crown rot, black spot, pod rot, smut, net blast, bacterial wilt, etc in crops.

Active Ingredient

600g/L Phosphorus(Phosphonic) acid present in mono and Di Potassium Phosphite

Target Crops
Tomato, potato, cocoa, cassava, Rice cereals, legumes, pulses, oil seeds, cotton, Capsicum, chilies, cauliflower, Onion, Cowpea, Ginger, Tea, Coffee and Fruit crops; citrus, watermelon, pineapple, Banana, etc.

Precaution for Application of Biopow

It is recommended that organic products are sprayed early hours of the morning or late afternoon for better results. UV radiation in peak sunny hours of the day may reduce the bioefficacy of the product.
