Today is World Food Day, and as it’s our culture we like to reflect on our journeys towards achieving a world food-secure future. Our commitment remains to produce sufficient high-quality food for Africa’s growing population sustainably.

In line with this year’s #WorldfoodDay theme, ” Right to food for a better life and better future.” We remain committed to providing high-quality and affordable food for all. To achieve this, we have continued to leverage on refining our existing food systems through:

  • Providing smallholder farmers with timely access to affordable environmentally friendly farm inputs. This helps to cushion the shocks from inflations in farm input prices, and importantly address the challenge of growing soil health and fertility.
  • Working with Nigerian Farmers to increase yields via good agronomic practice, an efficient, fast low-cost comprehensive field management to aid an increased yield/ha.
  • An innovative post-harvest management solution to drive Food and economic security. The growing increase in yields among farmers continues to put enormous pressure on available grain storage infrastructure. We seek to provide smallholder farmers with all-year access to granary services to address post-harvest losses.
  • High-value economic trees for sustainable Environmental and Economic Development. We aim to work with smallholder farmers to promote overall agricultural development and diversification into high-value tree crops via agroforestry. This will create jobs, restore degraded lands, and turn homesteads into high-income generating channels for the rural poor and low-income earners.
  • Fresh Organic horticulture products for all. Our healthy, high-quality farming techniques and practices ensure a guaranteed consistency of premium fresh fruits and vegetables to consumers all year.
  • Aquaculture and Fishery. We employ the most sustainable techniques in aquaculture management. we provide healthy and affordable protein options to millions of homes, including the vulnerable and malnourished.
  • Formal informal Practical training, and extension services aimed at driving African agricultural sustainability through knowledge sharing to increase productivity and improve the livelihood of smallholder farmers.
  • Protected cultivation to drive all-year access to premium vegetables and food security for all
  • Crop farming to strengthen the growing demand for grains. We are committed to making a difference in Nigeria’s global food industry investing in turnkey technologies and solutions aimed at driving an increased yield in crop cultivation.
  • We remain committed to exceeding the norm in quality and excellence in employing modern breeding, and production techniques in delivering healthy, safe, and affordable poultry, beef, dairy, and meat products and services.

Fostering innovation on an ever-dynamic farming landscape. At the heart of our focus is striving to produce more with less. As the world’s population explodes, producing more healthy food in cheaper ways, on time, with a sustainable production approach, storage, and logistic options are key emphases in our future. Exploring more affordable and environmentally friendly technologies, locally sourced resources, and exploration of underutilized resources, particularly underutilized species with enormous potential to boost a healthy, increased, sustainable food security.
