Job Summary:
The Ecofarms is seeking a diligent and passionate Adhoc Staff to work alongside Farm Staff in general farm labour or agricultural tasks (e.g., planting, harvesting, weeding, or equipment cleaning), with a track record of dependable performance.
Eligibility and Competence:
- Proven Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in general farm labour or agricultural tasks (e.g., planting, harvesting, weeding, or equipment cleaning), with a track record of dependable performance.
- Flexibility: Demonstrated ability to perform a variety of tasks as needed, including manual labour, basic maintenance, or assisting other staff, with references confirming adaptability.
- Physical Fitness: Strong physical stamina to handle labour-intensive tasks (e.g., lifting heavy produce, prolonged standing) in outdoor conditions, with no medical restrictions.
- Teamwork: Proven ability to work collaboratively with supervisors and colleagues, following instructions accurately and contributing to team goals.
- Basic Skills: Familiarity with basic farm tools and inputs (e.g., herbicides, insecticides, fertilisers, knapsack, hoes, shovels, wheelbarrows) and adherence to safety protocols; ability to learn new tasks quickly.
- Reliability: History of punctuality and availability for flexible or seasonal work schedules, as confirmed by at least one professional reference.
- Local Knowledge: Preference for candidates with familiarity with local agricultural practices or environmental conditions in Nigeria, though not mandatory.
